@ Jasmine – No, unfortunately I get my jicama at the grocery store. I was thinking of trying this with seeded cucumber to make it all local but haven’t experimented yet. Watermelon from your CSA? We’re still just on onions and potatoes. Okay, and a few little tomatoes. :-/

Just wondering if you have you found a local source for the Jicama? Otherwise I will head over to the grocery and pick one up. I bought a watermelon at the Wednesday King Street market and then got another two small ones from my CSA.

i was just hacking up a watermelon last night thinking i needed a recipe for what to do when you have entirely too much watermelon…. i’d love a cup of that.
