Unfortunately, we&#039;ve got folks who are allergic to real trees (the sap, really). It&#039;s bad enough here with the cedar (ash juniper) outside; even rougher to deal with trees inside, too.

So we have to go with artificial, alas. 

I did grab a Norfolk pine this year, which for some reason doesn&#039;t seem to cause problems chez nous.</description>

		<description>hilarious, as we were driving to cut our tree down at the tree farm just out of town, i was wondering if it was a &quot;green&quot; holiday practice.  i decided that buying a local grown product, supporting a local business, etc. were better reasons that supporting a biz that sells the plastic kind.  just need to find a &quot;greener&quot; way to dispose of it this year.  i didn&#039;t think about pesticides, and will check into this farms use of pesticides.  thanks for the heads up!</description>
