FoodieTots — “Raising Foodies on Real Food” — is a resource for families trying to get fresh, healthy meals on the table in today’s busy world. With an emphasis on food from the farmers market, the CSA or the garden, FoodieTots shares recipes and resources to make eating healthy simple and fun for the whole family. FoodieTots also features recipes for getting kids into the kitchen, as kids who cook are more likely to eat a varied diet and maintain a lifelong interest in eating well.

About the Author:

goaticonColleen Levine is a foodie, farmers market junkie and mama of two who was inspired by the birth of her son in 2006 to learn more about cooking eco-friendly, kid-friendly meals at home. She is constantly on the quest for local, organic and sustainable food options and chronicles the successes and challenges here. The FoodieTot family spends many weekends at their local farmers market and enjoys visiting the many wonderful family farms in the Chesapeake Bay region. She can also be found writing about artisanal cheese at Cheese and Champagne.
